Join us for a volunteer hands-on Fall gardening workshop. Work with Master Gardeners and community garden members in the Community Garden. 

Participants are encouraged to bring a hat, sunscreen, and gloves. Also bring, if you have them, small hand tools like clippers, soil knife, and small containers to collect seeds.

Hands-on Learning Topics:

• Collect and take home vegetable and flower seeds

• Spread mulch for weed management

• Learn and practice Fall pruning techniques

• Monarch butterflies and Integrated Pest Management (IPM), and  beneficial insects

• Cool season vegetable and ornamental gardening tips and demos

Presenters include: UC Master Gardeners Rebecca Schoenenberger, Rene Prupes, Mint Paskadee, Allison Heisch, Jim Lockheart.
